WhatsApp users can not only use the messaging platform to communicate in real time but also have access to many other essential features such as voice calling, video calling and group video calling. You also have the ability to make payments on the platform.
The WhatsApp Payments feature was developed in partnership with the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI). It’s a payment method that uses Unified Payments Interface (UPI). The payment feature is available in the latest WhatsApp version. With it, you can send money to any person through WhatsApp. You can also receive money through WhatsApp. Your WhatsApp number must be linked to your bank account in order to use this feature.
WhatsApp Payments can be used if you have the latest versions of Android and iOS, and the same WhatsApp number that is linked to your bank account. We will be showing you how to check your account balance using WhatsApp.
Method 1: From Settings, check your account balance.
Step 1: Open WhatsApp from your phone.
Step 2: Tap on the More option if you have Android Step 2: If you have an iPhone tap on Settings.
Step 3: Tap on Payments.
Step 4: Click on the appropriate bank account in the Payment Method.
Step 5: Click on View Account Balance to enter your UPI Pin.
Method 2: You can check your account balance before you send money.
Step 1: Select the available payment method in the payment message screen.
Step 2: Click on View Account Balance.
Step 3: Select the bank account that is linked to your WhatsApp account if you have more than one bank account.
Step 4: Enter your UPI Pin.
