Realme has scheduled a launch event to launch the Realme GT 2 range. The event is scheduled for the 20th of December and Realme is expected to reveal its Realme GT 2 lineup. It is possible that the company could unveil its flagship phone, the Realme GT 2 Pro and also during the event.
We are aware that Realme GT 2 Pro will come with the most up-to-date Snapdragon 8 Generation 1. SoC Gizmochina reports that the phone could also come with claims they believe that the phone may come with 1TB of onboard storage, Quad HDplus resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and up to 12GB of RAM LPDDR5.
The phone is likely to come with a 32-megapixel under-display selfie camera as well as a triple camera setup on the back with a 50 megapixel primary sensor, 50 MP ultra-wide camera and the telephoto snapper.
True flagship, but not real tactics
A couple of months ago, OnePlus surprised everyone with an announcement of their event. This is a common occurrence the norm when new devices arrive fast and thick we weren’t sure there was anything wrong. We were surprised the timing of their event, which coincided with Samsung’s folding phones’ launch. In truth, until this point, all we’d heard were rumors that OnePlus is developing the possibility of a foldable phone. That’s it.
We are aware that OnePlus has the right to launch a device on the same day that a competitor is planning to launch. But, it was somewhat of a snub that OnePlus launched an offer for its flagship phone rather than a product it previously teased.
If you’re wondering what’s so special of OnePlus in a report about the debut of the Realme flagship phone, you should check out the announcement this Chinese company made few days ago.
Realme has hinted via its social networks that the company’s first smartphone that is a flagship – Realme GT 2 Pro with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC would be revealed on December 9 on the same day that Moto has scheduled an event for the launch of Moto Edge X30.
Although Motorola was able to launch another phone, Realme was missing completely from the market. The company’s executives who we contacted were as confused as we as well, if not more.
We are certain that this was done in order to remove some shine off of this Moto event and make news, Moto still ended up launch the first smartphone equipped featuring the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen1 SoC. The marketing promotional gimmick by Realme was not in the best of spirits. We’re certain that many of our followers weren’t impressed.
